Long commute!
I still don’t have a car and I had my first taste of a really looong commute two days ago! I took an FX (or Revo!) from Marikina to Katipunan … took LRT from Katipunan to Cubao then went through Gateway Mall to get to the MRT … took MRT from Cubao to Taft Avenue … then took a cab from Taft Avenue to Baclaran … took a bus from Baclaran to Pala Pala (Cavite) … then took a jeepney from Pala Pala to Metropolis … then from the subdivision entrance … took one final tricyle ride to my boarding house! ;=) Amazing … I had a taste of every single public utility vehicle available in the Philippines in one trip! ;=) It took me 2-3 hours to get to my place in Cavite! God … I miss having a car! ;=)

Here’s a tip: From Taft, you don’t have to go to Baclaran. May FX na going to Dasma Bayan. Sakayan is infront of SuperSaver(?) mall. Or you can also wait for a bus (Jasper) that goes straight to Pala-pala.:)
